What you supply

{conversationId}

The conversation's UUID.

The last path segment of the chat's claude.ai URL.

An id that does not exist is not an error — you land on the recent chats list instead. A link that "went to the wrong place" usually means a bad id rather than a broken link.

claude://claude.ai/project/{projectId} does the same thing for a project.
