There is no scheme here on purpose. The standalone desktop app is gone — what installs as ChatGPT.app today is com.openai.codex, the same bundle that serves Codex, which is why Codex has deep routes and this page has none. Older writing about a ChatGPT URI scheme describes an app that has been retired; the links below are the ones that still resolve.
