What you supply

{prompt}

The prompt to put in the composer.

URL-encode it. An unencoded & ends the prompt and starts a new parameter.

The conversation does not appear in history and is not used for training. This is the link to hand someone when the prompt is the private part — a draft they have not sent, a diagnosis they have not had, a letter they have not decided to write.

Temporary is not secret. OpenAI keeps a copy for up to 30 days for safety review, so this controls what is retained, not what is seen. Do not describe it to anyone as private.
